The AXIS mission is a next generation X-ray observatory featuring very high resolution modular x-ray optics developed by NASA GSFC. We are proud to be part of the german contribution to this mission and engaged in optomechanical tasks and verification activities of the mirror modules. As a de-risking measure for the upcome campaign with the engineering demonstrator unit, we conducted a pre-test of a mass dummy together with our institutional customer in Garching.
