Over the past year we have been working to design build and assemble a structural thermal model (STM) for the LISA mission’s Point Ahead Angle Mechanism.

The assembly activities, including integration of the test harness and mating to the MGSE Integration adapter arm was completed recently and we will now transfer the unit to our customer in Hannover. From there the journey will continue to Edinburgh where the PAAM-STM will be integrated with the STM of the Optical Bench Assembly for extensive testing.
