We have successfully complete a vibration test of the LISA Power Monitor unit. In this case the focus of the test was not centered on the unit itself , which was represented only by a mass dummy, but on the interface between the unit and the optical bench. This interface, which is implemented by a „Common Interface Pedestal“ – CIP, uses adhesive bonding towards the Zerodur surface, and a bolted joint to mount the PMON unit itself.

The test setup utilizes a representative Zerodur window which is integrated with the test adapter structure via a flexible joint. The test setup was subjected to the full mechanical load and shock spectrum as currently specified for the LISA misson.
